In order to achieve its key objectives, the Social Consultation Forum focusses on Social Policy related subjects that have a DANUBE FAB dimension – excluding negotiations on wages and working time and fully respecting the existing collective bargaining procedures envisaged by the ANSPs of the Republic of Bulgaria and Romania.

Moreover, the Social Consultation Forum is deemed to work in a spirit of co-operation, consensus and good faith, to organise the implementation of the work programme in a flexible manner, establishing as is felt appropriate and necessary - ad hoc working groups on specific subjects and to promote the discussion and/or implementation of, for example, initiatives, policies, statements and the adopted recommendations .

The Social Consultation Forum regularly review, evaluate and update its work programme and liaise closely with the Project Management Office, including the internal and external consultants in its discussions as appropriate, in order to monitor and evaluate the impact of its activities.
