DANUBE FAB at the fourth Inter-FAB Point of Contact Workshop

DANUBE FAB attended the 4th Inter-FAB Point of Contact Workshop, hosted by the BLUE MED FAB in Malta on 5th and 6th October 2017, thus demonstrating once again the maturity and commitment of their FABs stakeholders.

As a particularity, compared to previous years, in 2017 the FABs are more interested on issues concerning the delays including weather induced, the volatility of traffic, Social Dialogue, the third Performance Reference Period (RP3) and nonetheless on the outcome and actions taken by FABs in respect with the EC Study on FABs.

Regarding their planned operations, focus was given by Joe Sultana, the director of Network Manager Directorate, on how the network can develop an effective relationship with FABs in RP3. The workshop ended with a panel discussion on FABs contribution to Network Performance.

The workshop provided a framework for sharing experiences and lessons learnt, substantiating the need for its continuity and for a better visibility in the external environment.
